Had to increase from 4 stars to 5 stars. I’ve been back a few times, and I always get the “Special” if one is available. The special frequently changes, and it makes coming back to this truck always a surprise. Most frequently it is a grilled chicken dish with variations on the herbs/spices/sauces and carb accompaniment (I think quinoa is what they had last time). It’s been some of the best stuff I’ve eaten lately. Today I was in for a surprise: they had risotto with a fried egg, diced sausage, garlic, and truffle glaze. Wow. Prep time took a little longer than normal, but it was completely worth it.

I think this may be the best food truck in Orlando because of their: 1) Consistent quality of their main items, 2) Speed of preparation, 3) Gracious portion of food for what you pay, and 4) Constant rotation of Specials which are unique gourmet meals. I think more food trucks need to learn from these qualities and emulate them. Louie’s Bistro really does seem like a restaurant on wheels rather than a specialized vendor of one type of food.

See my original (previous) review for descriptions of more of their specific items.
